All are welcome to join weekly Cajon classes on Saturdays at the Pasion Flamenco School in Rockdale, Sydney from 11 – 12 noon. Open/mixed level. This term we are looking at Paradiddles on the Cajon, some cool new grooves, and with a focus on technique. For more information, please email me at claudia@learncajon.com

I was thrilled that Frank Corniola and Gary France from DrumScene published an article on my Learn Cajon DVD in the July – Sep 2012 edition. For copies of the mag which is packed with great info, interviews, tips and news on all things to do with drums and percussion, go to www.drumscene.com.au/current-issue

Some Comments from Past Workshops

“We were thrilled with your professionalism and interactions with the boys. You gave the boys a new outlook and way to express themselves. You were the key to unlocking the magic within!”
Ann Dunbar, Teacher, Putland Education and Training Unit

“The kids really responded well. Bright, smiles and some kids really came out of their shells and shined. It was amazing. The time flew by and the kids were absorbed for the entire time. The body percussion and drumming were perfectly aimed at and suited the ages of the kids.”
Katie Everett, – Sydney South West Area Holiday Program

“I was impressed by the way the workshops generated happiness! They were positive for every participant, whether shy, anxious, or boisterous, and I loved how Claudia managed the group, and brought the group together to put on a performance.”

The You Do What? article is my favourite section of the Good Weekend (Australia) newspaper and I am still pinching myself I was included. If you didn’t see it, you can read the article by clicking here. Many thanks to Cindy MacDonald, Nina Karnikowski & Nick Cubbin from Good Weekend, and Steve Godbee for the wonderful article and photo!
