A registered teacher with the Department of Education since 1991, Claudia has been running workshops, conducting percussion ensembles, and performing in many schools across Sydney and beyond.

She is currently on the staff at Curran Public, and James Meehan High, where she teaches drumming and percussion and runs various groups including the combined schools Drumming Ensemble which recently performed at the ANZ Stadium as half time entertainment for the rugby.

She has run Professional Development sessions at many schools, training teachers how to bring rhythm and movement into the classroom, and has an online Professional Development Training available – Teaching Multicultural Rhythm in the Classroom.

She has also presented at various conferences on the power of drumming in the classroom/school environment, and currently is Artist in Residence with the Australia Council for the Arts and Department of Education Artist in Schools Program.
